We are an organisation that runs peer-led prevention program to raise awareness and build resilience for dangerous lifestyle trends for young people aged 14-16 years old. Urban Heard does this through working with local youth groups and schools to raise awareness through creative workshops and then recruiting, training and employing young people, of the same age. They are then tasked with creating a full social marketing strategy, which will be implemented over 6-8 months online and in their communities through effective and innovative interventions. Entirely youth centric: the young people design all elements and receive training, support and mentoring from Urban Heard’s experienced team of youth workers and graphic designers.
