• Why Volunteer?
    Why Volunteer

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging and rewarding. Volunteering can be a route to employment, or a chance to try something new which may lead to a career.

    Improve quality of life

Research suggests that where families are adequately supported, loved ones are more likely to engage in treatment, complete treatment successfully, and are more likely to maintain their new lifestyle.

If the person you care about is not ready to enter treatment, we can still support you and other family members to improve the quality of your lives.
